The Wayfarers are a long-standing
reading group at Ste-Genny's. They meet on Mondays at noon. We look
forward to new life into this wonderful group.
Everyone is invited to participate.
You do not have to begin joining us at the beginning of any book. Just
drop by to participate!
A wayfarer is someone who travels on
foot. This a good analogy for the pace of the group: we gather, we
talk about current events, we read together and discuss the books as
the Spirit moves us, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. No need to read
ahead or come prepared in any way. We travel all together, walking
through the book with no specific deadline.
The topics vary from current events to
inspirational books, to theology and Biblical scholarship. The
participants choose the book together. The
