I want
to be a U.C.W. and stay and bake all night. I want to check those cookies to make sure they come out right! I want to be a U.C.W. The desserts they make are sweet. But my arm is sore and aching from stirring that mince meat. I want to be a U.C.W. and join those crafty ladies. They work hard the year around but never get any paydays. I want to be a U.C.W. and run a giant bazaar. And have those satisfied customers from near and from far. I want to be a U.C.W. and join in that sisterhood to serve God and Country, to work for the common good. I want to be a U.C.W. I know they make God smile. He knows they are the type of women who go the extra mile. I want to be a U.C.W. and work like a bee in a hive. We love you here at Ste-Geneviève. You keep our church alive. I want to be a U.C.W. But I don't think that I can. Because to be a U.C.W. you cannot be a man! |
