Training Sessions

WHAT IS THE HEALING PATHWAY? The Healing Pathway is one of four program pathways that live out the purpose and mission of Naramata Centre. This is an educational program with five developmental phases. It is designed to train and mentor people who wish to develop the gift and skill of healing hands within the Christian tradition.

WHAT DOES “HEALING” MEAN? We believe that healing is a process guided by God to restore balance and wholeness of body, mind and spirit, not only within the individual, but also within relationships, community and creation.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE HEALING PATHWAY? The Healing Pathway is intended to assist congregations in developing and sustaining a healing ministry. The Pathway is primarily focused on team ministry that is centred and grounded in the life and structure of the congregation or community.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR? The program is for anyone involved in a church congregation or community who is interested in being involved in a Healing Ministry. Both lay people and trained Order of Ministry personnel are welcome to attend workshops and enter the program.
